My entry for the Battlerite's "Curse of The Night" Art Contest

A kid comes to a place where lies the corpses of people who fought with swords against dark creatures with cursed weapons, but the kid doesn't know what they are or what happened to them. The curious kid walks around the place and notices something weird. There is something on the ground slowly moving, it's too dark, kid has to move closer to see what it is. Maybe a person alive, maybe an animal struggling on the ground. Kid comes closer and closer. Just when he is close enough to see in that dark, the thing on the ground turns to the kid and starts talking "The Haunt Begins!"
Kid immediately starts running away from the creature, can hear the creature breathing just behind him , passes from the forest in that dark night, can't see anything , stormy weather, muddy ground. Kid runs as fast as he can, until he finds himself near the edge of a cliff. The creature slowly comes closer, kid has nowhere to run. The creature summons his scythe and looks directly into the kid's eyes, raises his scythe...
